This article introduces the establishment background, development process of Heilongjiang ecological vocational college and the characteristics of specialized courses. Heilongjiang ecological college is located in beigang district, Harbin city, Heilongjiang province. In July 2006, the college was approved by the ministry of education. It was the only higher vocational college in Heilongjiang province with the recycling of resources as the theme and ecological protection, environmental hygiene, municipal maintenance as the professional characteristic. Since its establishment, the college has developed into a comprehensive higher vocational college integrating higher vocational education, scientific research and production, and gradually formed a school-running mode of promoting each other in the aspects of education, teaching, research, production and life.
